  News Republic for Android is a news app that brings together many different sources of news and compiles them together in an interesting to use interface. It is also geared towards technology news. The interface is sorted by keywords. Pros – Cool interface, especially the 3D rotating one. Great for technology junkies. Cons – Cannot add your own news sources! Big bummer.   Press Reader for Android is a program that allows you to physically download newspapers and read them from your Android device. I installed the phone version, but there is also a Honeycomb tablet optimized version as well. It downloads a newspaper that you can scroll back and forth through. Pros – Read the actual newspaper!   Google Reader for Android – Video Review

  Google Reader for Android was released a while ago by Google in order to compete with all of the third party RSS readers. For what it is worth, the app is not perfect, but does a great job, since I have had many problems with third party readers. Check the video review out of Google Reader for Android after the break.
